So much for my resolve to not end up drinking with other Kiwis. But, I suppose it is my inescapable duty to seek out expats of my acquaintance. And fun times ensued, so all was well.
Felt quite bush-leagued by the fact that whereas one Broadway musical is big news in Auckland, London is showing Les Mis and Wicked and The Lion King and Legally Blonde and it's all just oh, whatever. Plus a play starring Matthew Fox and Olivia Williams. Odd combination. Whatever it's about, I can't imagine it.
Also, whatever the opposite of diabetes is: I have that from drinking salty margaritas. Gasp.
Oooh I hope you're going to check out a pretend-Broadway show! Go see Wicked, & proclaim it to be wicked in a bad Kiwi accent! Wuckud!
